We congratulate veteran admission officer and #Wor We congratulate veteran admission officer and #WorldChanger, Pam Baughman, on her appointment to Vice President for Student Success at @ctclcolleges member school, #CentreCollege. Pam brings her dynamic student-centered commitment and decades of experience to this new role. Bravo! 🙌🎓👏

The newly created role in the College president’s office grew out of campus-wide strategic planning efforts, which identified student success as a priority for immediate action.

“I’m deeply grateful to Pam for taking on this new role," President Milton Moreland said. "Her leadership and long service at Centre make her uniquely knowledgeable to help develop programs and initiatives to support student success.”

MaryKate and Taylor were fantastic tour guides across the Hilltop campus. Students are engaged in Exploration Term this month. The projects offered during E Term may vary in content and technique, but they all share the goal of providing an opportunity for exploration not possible during the regular term. This includes opportunities for undergraduate research-focused creative production. Faculty-led projects, sophomore, junior, and senior students are encouraged to use initiative and imagination to develop their own contracted projects through the Krulak Institute. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Grateful for the year that has end HAPPY NEW YEAR! Grateful for the year that has ended, excited for the year that is ahead! Here’s to another great year of uplifting a student-centered college admission search, celebrating the liberal arts, and sharing our 44 distinctly different colleges with students, families, and counselors!
As we reflect on 2022 and look forward to 2023, we As we reflect on 2022 and look forward to 2023, we celebrate our supporters! We are excited to announce that earlier this fall we received a $2500 donation from The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) through its Employee Network Group, the Black Organization for Leadership and Development (BOLD), to support the 2022 CTCL Scholarship. Two students in their first year of undergraduate study are direct beneficiaries: they are enrolled at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.

The CTCL Scholarship has been awarded annually since 2016 to students intent on matriculating to one of the 44 CTCL member institutions. Applicants are asked to share how they anticipate their experience with a variety of disciplines will showcase their academic interests and goals and how they plan to take their CTCL education out into the world to change lives. Both concepts speak to the CTCL belief that a college education, particularly one rooted in the liberal arts, can be truly transformative, guiding students journeys to becoming citizens of the world.

OCC is the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization with employees in Chicago, Dallas, and Washington, D.C. In 2022, OCC partnered with its Employee Network Groups to nominate nonprofit organizations to receive scholarship donations. These donations demonstrate OCC’s stewardship and integrity value, representing its commitment to increasing access to education for underrepresented communities and making a positive impact where employees live and work.
OCC appreciates the dedication and commitment of Colleges That Change Lives to advocating for higher education access and furthering the goal of every student finding a college that develops a lifelong love of learning and provides the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life beyond college. OCC is proud to support organizations that reflect its values and help to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities in need. #Grateful #ChangingLivesOneStudentAtATime
