<li>Kalamazoo College is the home of nationally recognized study abroad and first-year experience programs.</li>
<li>LandSea, the college’s optional pre-orientation program, offers first-year students an amazing outdoor experience hiking, canoeing and climbing in the Adirondacks or at a local campsite in Kalamazoo—no previous camping experience required. In its 50-year history, more than 2,000 students have used LandSea as a way to build support networks and self-confidence before beginning the fall term.</li>
<li>The majority of Kalamazoo College students study abroad through more than 50 programs in more than 35 countries on six continents.</li>
<li>Kalamazoo College is nationally known for the <em>K-Plan</em>, an integrated, personalized approach to the liberal arts and sciences. The <em>K-Plan</em> combines exceptional scholarship, study abroad, career development, civic engagement and a senior project in a flexible curriculum that allows students to explore their own interests across disciplines.</li>
<li>K students have opportunities to build their careers by connecting with K alumni at global companies such as Nike, Amazon, Stryker and Goldman Sachs through career workshops and networking.</li>

<li>Kalamazoo College has more than 80 student organizations including interest-based, advocacy/identity-based, social, and political groups.</li>
<li>Intramural sports provide a safe and fun environment open to students not participating in a varsity sport.</li>
<li>Student traditions on campus include the annual Monte Carlo Night with casino-style games, a DJ and a photo booth; and Cafsgiving, a version of Thanksgiving where students are served by staff.</li>

<p>On average, within six months of graduation about 76% of our graduates are working while 23% are continuing their education (based on 10 years of first destination data).</p>
<p>Kalamazoo College has been named a Fulbright Top Producing Institution for the U.S. Student Scholar Program since 2020.</p>
<p>Many of our alumni go on to pursue graduate degrees at schools such as the University of Michigan, Western Michigan University, Yale University and the University of Notre Dame.</p>
<p>K grads have forged successful careers around the globe at companies and organizations like AeroTek, Goldman Sachs, Google, Henry Ford Health Systems, Stryker, Major League Baseball headquarters and Environmental Working Group.</p>
