Private Schools Graduate Students Faster and at Higher Rates

Chart from the 2008-09 study showing 59% of graduates from small private colleges finish in 4 years, as compared to 38% at regional public universities

New research documents that when comparing the graduation rates of all types of students, those who attend liberal art colleges and universities have significantly greater success:  they graduate at higher rates and in shorter time. This means not only that private school students may actually pay less tuition for their degrees (only four years versus 5 or more) but that they enter their career fields and begin their professional lives sooner.
