New College’s chapter of the Society of Physics Students was founded only last year and has now won an Outstanding Chapter Award from the SPS National Office. This award recognizes its excellence as a top-tier student-led physical sciences organization. Fewer than 15 percent of all SPS chapters receive the designation.
