Support Our Mission

CTCL educates students, families, counselors and the public about the accessibility of a quality post-secondary educational experience and helps students find a best-fit college that develops a lifelong love of learning. We invite you to support the mission of CTCL.

Colleges That Change Lives, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.

CTCL Scholarship Fund
Thousands of students and families have reaped the benefits of a CTCL experience and have been “changed” in ways that were unforeseen but graciously welcomed. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Colleges That Change Lives and the 10th anniversary of the nonprofit CTCL, the Board of Directors has established the CTCL Scholarship Fund to make the CTCL experience a reality for even more students.

Your donations fund scholarships for outstanding students who enroll in one of the CTCL member colleges and are a wonderful way to honor author Loren Pope’s wisdom and to celebrate the ongoing work of CTCL in carrying forth his vision.

$4,000 – Full Scholarship
$2,000 – Half Scholarship
$1,000 – One Year of Scholarship
$250 – Friend of CTCL
$100 – Scholarship Supporter
Any donation is appreciated!

General donations support the CTCL mission. These funds make a difference for school counselors and the students they serve, particularly underserved populations, by providing them with useful information about the college search process. This includes access to the CTCL national programs, individual pre-program workshops, speakers at high school and community programs, and college counseling materials. CTCL programs are free of charge, but many public schools and community-based organizations need assistance with transportation to these events as well as reference materials for their college counseling services.

Donations can be made via either of the above PayPal links. However, if you prefer to send a check directly to CTCL, please make it payable to:
